Our Cardiff home sits proudly within the historic Royal Arcade, one of the city’s beautiful Victorian arcades dating back to the nineteenth century. These arcades were once the beating heart of Cardiff’s independent retail scene, designed to bring elegance and energy to the city centre. Trading beneath the original glass canopy and surrounded by architectural detail, Square and Fair at Royal Arcade blends old world charm with our bold, modern focaccia and speciality coffee offering. It is a space full of heritage, footfall and the everyday rhythm of city life.
In Llandaff, you will find us inside the Padel Centre in Llandaff Fields. This location is all about movement, community and fresh air. Positioned within one of Cardiff’s most loved green spaces, it brings together sport, socialising and great food. Whether you have just finished a match, walked through the fields or are meeting friends for coffee, Square and Fair in Llandaff is relaxed, energising and rooted in an active lifestyle.

Our flagship location is the first of many Square & Fair spaces to come, and we couldn’t think of a better home than here, tucked within the iconic Morgan Quarter.
The Royal Arcade is the oldest arcade in Cardiff, dating back to 1858, and still buzzing with an independent spirit today. It’s a place where history meets modern creativity, much like our approach to food and coffee.
Being here matters to us. The Cardiff arcades aren’t just streets with roofs; they’re the soul of the city. A labyrinth of artisan makers and indie businesses that keep Cardiff authentic. And now, Square & Fair is proud to be part of that story, serving up fair trade coffee, and focaccia sandwiches with personality.
This is more than a coffee shop. It’s our love letter to Cardiff – and the first step in taking Square & Fair to more streets, more people, and more communities.

Tucked beside the courts at Llandaff Fields, Square + Fair brings chef led food and great coffee to the neighbourhood. This laid back spot is the perfect mix of local charm and modern café culture.
Here, we serve our famous giant filled focaccias made fresh daily, alongside our range of small plates designed for sharing, relaxing and enjoying the pace of the park. Every dish is made with care using locally sourced Welsh produce wherever possible.
Our partnership with Smash Padel has created a vibrant new destination in the park, where great food, sport and community meet. Whether you are grabbing a coffee before a game, relaxing after a match, or catching up with friends, we promise good food, good coffee and good company right here in the park.
